About the project

The Scripps Energy & Materials Center is made up of the brightest scientific minds in the world addressing challenges in sustainability and climate change. Dr. Roy Periana and his research group knew what they wanted to convey about their work, but weren’t exactly sure how to execute it. Together, we revised the content to appeal to both the scientific community and the general public. Next, I designed a logo and a website in line with the lab’s chemistry roots. The logo is unique branding for the lab and through the use of color shows their connection to Scripps Research Institute. The website is simple, graphically bold, and easy to navigate.
